Meyersville Road repaving project set to begin on/or about Monday, September 18, 2017.

A section of Meyersville Road from the Meyersville Circle (intersection with New Vernon Road) east to Fairmount Road in Chatham Twp. will be milled and paved.

Preliminary road work will take place from Sept. 18 through Sept. 22.  During this time the road will remain open with no anticipated detours.  Expect delays during this time as police officers may need to alternate traffic.

The milling and paving is expected to take place during the week of September 25th through the 29th.  During this time, EASTBOUND TRAFFIC ONLY will be permitted on Meyersville Road, between New Vernon Road in Gillette and Fairmount Avenue in Chatham Township.  Westbound Meyersville Road traffic will be detoured in Chatham Township south on Fairmount Avenue, west on River Road (turns into Long Hill Road), north on Meyersville Road.

The hours of the project will be 7:00 am until 4:00 pm daily, Monday - Friday.

Expect delays throughout the duration of this project and follow the Long Hill Township Police Department Facebook page for daily project updates and current detours in place.
