Please find attached an Advisory notice concerning a recent change to the NJSEM contract price for electricity for your (non-lighting) electric accounts in the JCP&L territory, currently served by Direct Energy.  This reflects the pass-through of changes in transmission costs approved at the federal level. Although Direct Energy has requested a modest contract price increase as a result of recent actions by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), member savings will be improving when compared to JCP&L’s recently increased tariff price for power supply.  Changes will become effective this month and details are provided in the attached Advisory notice.
