Special Wibit Announcement Labor Day Weekend: As most of you remember from last year, we have to take the Wibit out of the Lake, thoroughly clean and dry it, and take it apart to store it properly over the winter so we'll have it again next season. This is a several day process, and this will be done over the three days of the Labor Day weekend. During this time, the Wibit will be unavailable for use. I need to have our Lake staff handle this process, so it cannot be done after Labor Day. I know we all enjoy the Wibit, and it continues to be the source of a lot of great fun. I thank you for your understanding of this process ahead of time. Thank you for spending your summer with us. I hope you have enjoyed it, and continue to enjoy every last bit of it.
Long Hill Township invites you to spend quality time with your family during the summer at Stirling Lake. Membership to the Lake offers the opportunity to enjoy refreshing water activities, arts and crafts, Family Fun Day, the use of a picnic area with playground equipment, bathroom facilities and swimming lessons for children 3 years and older. The Lake opens for swimming Memorial Day Weekend, and then is open weekends only until the end of June. After the schools are out, the lake will open for swimming 7 days per week until we close on Labor Day for the season. Badges are required at all times and may be purchased online through Community Pass or at Town Hall. Once online registration is completed, starting April 17th, badges will be available for pick up (two business days later) at Town Hall in the Administration Office during regular Town Hall hours. Membership is open to residents Long Hill and non-residents for an additional fee. Members may bring guests for an additional Guest Pass fee. Long Hill Residents can purchase daily passes at $10 each per person for the day at the gate without being accompanied by a member. A current photo ID must be presented showing Long Hill address. All supervision/age requirements will still be enforced.
On Your Mark…Get Set…Go……The Wibit is HERE!
The latest craze throughout the U.S., Europe and Canada will be coming to Stirling Lake. The Wibit, a challenging, inflatable obstacle course will bring fun, excitement, and friendly competition to your day at the lake. It is fun for kids, teens, adults, families, and anyone who wants to just have a blast. It is even a definite laugh for those who are there to watch. It has become so popular; there are now international Wibit competitions held throughout Europe. It is as close to your own “Wipeout” as you will get.
